Run at your own pace. The group regroups along the route, and
someone always stays at the back, so you won't be left on your
own.
How fit you need to be
On Monday and Friday, run-walk is welcome. Those runs are 5 km
and you don't need to run all of it. Wednesday is 8 or 10 km and
suits people who can already run 8 km.
What to bring
Shoes you can run in.
Something bright or reflective.
A card or some cash for coffee.
After the run
There's coffee at Seattle afterwards. Stay for five minutes or
fifty.
What it costs
Nothing. The runs are free. You buy your own coffee.
Opens WhatsApp. Let the group know which morning you're
coming.
Questions people ask
Do I need to book?
No. Just arrive about five minutes before the start.
How fast do you run?
Everyone runs at their own pace. We regroup along the route
and someone always stays at the back.
Can I walk some of it?
Yes, on Monday and Friday. Those runs are 5 km and run-walk
is welcome. Wednesday is longer and suits people who can
already run 8 km.
What if I fall behind?
You won't be on your own. Someone always stays at the back,
and the group regroups along the route.
What does it cost?
Nothing. The runs are free.
What happens if the weather is bad?
The run leads decide on the morning and post in the WhatsApp
group either way. Check the group before you leave home.
Can I bring a friend?
Yes. You don't need to ask first.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, on a lead.
Can under 18s come along?
Yes, with a parent or guardian.
Is it safe at that time of morning?
For much of the year we start before sunrise, so we run as a
group, regroup along the route and keep someone at the back.
Wear something bright or reflective and bring a small light
if you have one.
Who can see my number in the WhatsApp group?
Everyone in the group. That's how WhatsApp groups work. If
you'd rather not join, follow us on Instagram and just turn
up on the morning.
